Benefits of CBD & Cannabis

We believe education is just as important as quality.

Cannabis comes in many forms — from gummies and tinctures to vapes and topicals — and each product offers a different experience based on things like dosage, strain type, and how your body responds.

We’re here to help you learn what works for you, at your own pace. We will answer your questions, explain how products work, and offer recommendations based on your goals, comfort level, and lifestyle. As cannabis continues to become more mainstream, we’re proud to be a trusted, welcoming resource for our community, helping you feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.

Who Cannabis Is For

We can’t wait to welcome you!

Are you looking for natural ways to relax, recharge, or find relief? Curious about exploring how plant-based wellness can fit into their lifestyle? Cannabis is for all types of adults:

  • The busy parent needing help winding down at the end of the day,
  • The creative looking for inspiration,
  • The person managing stress or sleep issues,
  • Or simply someone seeking a more balanced sense of well-being.

Cannabis isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s not for everyone. It’s important to approach it with intention, curiosity, and a willingness to learn what works best for your body and your needs.

At The Grass Station, we’re here to help guide that process, offering education, support, and a welcoming space to explore responsibly and confidently.

Cannabis Safety

To help make responsible users.

We understand that cannabis still carries a stigma for some, and we’re here to talk about that openly and honestly. For years, misinformation and outdated stereotypes have shaped the way people view cannabis use, often painting it in a negative or irresponsible light. But the truth is, today’s cannabis industry is rooted in science, wellness, and responsible adult use.

We’re committed to changing the conversation by creating a safe, respectful space where curiosity is welcome and judgment is left at the door. Whether you’re exploring cannabis for relaxation, stress relief, sleep, or simply as a new experience, we’re here to support your journey with transparency and care. There’s no shame in wanting to feel better, and there’s real empowerment in learning, asking questions, and making choices that work for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between marijuana and hemp?

While both are the same plant, hemp is any strain of cannabis that contains less than .3% THC. These strains are used for making textiles, biodiesel, and nutritional supplements such as CBD. Marijuana is any cannabis strain with more than .3% THC.

Will CBD get me high?

No, CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it doesn’t produce a “high.” It may help promote relaxation, reduce stress, or support better sleep, but without the intoxicating effects associated with THC.

How do I know how much to take?

Start low and go slow. Everyone’s body responds differently, so we recommend beginning with a small dose and increasing gradually until you find what works for you. Our team is happy to help guide you based on your goals and experience level.

How long does it take to feel the effects?

That depends on the product. Edibles can take 30–90 minutes to kick in, while vapes or tinctures may work in 10–30 minutes. Topicals work locally and often within 10–20 minutes.

Can I give CBD to my pet?

There are pet-specific CBD products that some owners use for anxiety or joint support. Always choose products made specifically for animals and talk with your vet before starting anything new.

Can I take CBD products with a federal job?

If you hold a federal job, it’s best to avoid CBD products, even those labeled as THC-free. That’s because many federal agencies have strict drug testing policies that prohibit any trace of THC, including trace amounts that can legally exist in hemp-derived CBD products. Even with a low or undetectable THC level, there’s still a risk of triggering a positive drug test, which could affect your employment. Because regulations and policies vary between agencies, we recommend checking directly with your employer or HR department before using any cannabis-derived product. Your safety, job security, and peace of mind come first.

What would happen if I were drug tested at work? What would they find if I had CBD?

Most standard workplace drug tests are designed to detect THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis that causes a “high.” Pure CBD (cannabidiol) itself is not typically screened for in drug tests. However, many CBD products — especially full-spectrum ones — can contain trace amounts of THC (within the legal limit of 0.3%). Over time, or with regular use, those trace amounts can build up in your system and potentially cause a positive drug test for THC, even if you never felt high.

If your workplace has a zero-tolerance policy or you’re subject to random or routine testing, it’s best to be very cautious. If you do choose to use CBD, look for broad-spectrum or CBD isolate products that are labeled THC-free — and only from trusted sources that provide third-party lab results to verify purity.

Still, nothing is 100% risk-free. If your job depends on passing a drug test, we always recommend speaking with HR or your employer first, and we’re happy to help you understand labels and products if you need a second look.

Are CBD and cannabis products legal?

Yes — hemp-derived CBD products with less than 0.3% THC are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. However, state laws vary, and products with higher THC levels may be restricted or only legal in licensed dispensaries depending on your location.

Can I drive after using CBD or THC?

You should never drive after using products containing THC, especially if they make you feel impaired. CBD alone is non-intoxicating, but it’s still smart to see how your body responds before driving or operating machinery.
